Who is Gather Round Sound?

My name is Taylor Sanders aka “T”. Im here to serve the music and the collective human experience that occurs when we find (or lose) ourselves fully immersed in sound. Many of the most profound moments in my life have centered around the shared live music experience, and these moments have inspired me to contribute my efforts towards the continuation and proliferation of the human connection and felt sense of togetherness that can happen when we “Gather Round Sound”..

Ive been a musician for most of my life, playing in bands and recording music of diverse genres- I believe this experience really helps with my job as a audio engineer, having been in the position of the artist on the stage or in the studio.

In 2010 I entered into the Audio Engineering program at Kansas City Kansas Community College, and graduated in 2012.

In 2019 I started learning electronic music production, which quickly became a deep passion, and has given me many insights into working with sound.

Currently I live in the mountains of Northern California with my wife and daughter, where I continue to hone my skills as a musician, engineer, and producer.I spend part of the year in Southern California working for the Joshua Tree Music Festival in various ways, including as a sound engineer and stage manager.
